YKPI Chairperson Says People May Survive from Early Stage Breast Canceradmin
Pontianak – The City Government (City Government) of Singkawang held a socialization of breast cancer early detection at the Mayor’s Office, Jalan Firdaus, Tuesday (07/08/2018).
The event was carried out in collaboration with the Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation (YKPI) and presented Dr. Agus Sutarman Sp.B (K) Onk as the speaker.
The Chairperson of YKPI, Linda Agum Gumela said that the importance of early detection of breast cancer was carried out. This is because persons with breast cancer at an early stage can survive.
“But why are 70 percent who come to the doctor an advanced stage,” he said.
This means that the possibilities for their life are getting smaller. If cancer is detected earlier, 80 to 90 percent can survive.
“That’s why there are so many factors,” she said.
