Not Only Women, Men Also Have the Risk of Breast Canceradmin
Pontianak – The City Government (City Government) of Singkawang held a socialization of breast cancer early detection at the Mayor’s Office, Jalan Firdaus, Tuesday (07/08/2018).
The event was carried out in collaboration with the Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation (YKPI) and presented Dr. Agus Sutarman Sp.B (K) Onk as the speaker.
Dr. Agus Sutarman Sp. B (K) Onk said, men have a risk of developing breast cancer.
“Just a little compared to women, 1 to 100,” he said.
This is because women have more breast glands than men; while men don’t have too many.
There are more breast cancer sufferers in Indonesia than other types of cancer. Even in the world the number is the same.
Early detection is very important because with early diagnosis, you can identify it from the start.
If you know it from the start, the chances of recovery are greater than knowing it at an advanced stage, the possibility of healing is smaller.
“Breast cancer can be cured if it is identifiy early,” he said.
